Exhibition design / Espace Culturel Louis Vuitton, Paris / 2O12
The exhibition looks at the subject of autobiography via projects by twelve artists. I concentrated my intervention on the three peripheral spaces, leaving the main areas free of elements dividing up the space. The space of the entrance hall is redefined by a large curtain the visitor goes through to enter the exhibition. The walkway is equipped with forty–nine luminous wall–mounted showcases. To create a reading room, we designed a large luminous table split into individual reading zones. The materials used, such as rough timber and silver-coloured adhesive tape, contrast with the luxurious brand image.
